Joe T. Johnson hailing from sunny Bristol crafts sleepy folk rock, think Bob Dylan and particularly Billy Bragg.

His new single is a chilled, crisp tune to spend those sleepy days in lockdown. I particularly like the relatability of his lyrics and storytelling, we’ve all found 10 pounds and wasted it in slightly less than sensible ways…

And hey, after playing at Glastonbury and being recommended by Steve Lamacq, who could argue?
